Thank you for your interest in writing for the Canadian Adventist Messenger. We seek to inform, empower, and inspire our readers by presenting them with articles and images of use for their personal growth and for the growth of their local church.

The Canadian Adventist Messenger welcomes the submission of unsolicited manuscripts for the sections listed on the right.

Technicalities:
  • Handwritten articles cannot be considered. Preferred format is typewritten/word processed plain text. Don’t do any special formatting, and do NOT embed photos into your document!

  • At the end of your article and in that same document, write a very brief biographical note about yourself. For example, "John Smith lives in Little Village, Ontario with his wife, Jane, and their two children. He is a champion underwater basket-weaver."

  • Separate from your article submission, give us a photo of yourself and, if possible, some story-telling photos. These need to be high resolution digital photos or digital representations of photos (scanned). If you don’t know what that means or how to tell if they are high-resolution or not, contact our office.

  • Be sure you’ve included contact information just in case we have questions and need to contact you.

  • Email submissions are preferred. Send them to Crystal Holloway. You may also fax them to (905) 433-0982 or mail them the old-fashioned way to 1148 King Street East, Oshawa, ON L1H 1H8. If submitting via any means other than email, contact the editor for instructions on how to submit photos.
